Flame-resistant clothing is only flame-resistant if everything on it is. Standard polyester thread melts, ordinary transfer film burns, and either one turns a certified garment into a hazard at exactly the moment it is needed. FR work is decorated with FR-rated materials by decorators qualified to do it — and if we cannot do that for a given order, we say so rather than substituting.

- All decoration materials are flame-resistant to preserve the garment's arc rating.
- The garment's arc-rating label stays visible and undecorated.
Questions buyers ask
- Does adding a logo affect an FR garment's rating?
- It can, which is why the materials are not negotiable. We use FR-rated thread and backing for embroidery and FR-certified film for transfers, and we route the work only to partners qualified for FR. Methods that cannot be made FR-safe are blocked on these garments rather than offered with a warning.
- Can you heat-press a transfer onto FR clothing?
- Only with an FR-certified transfer, applied within the temperature limit for that fabric. A standard transfer is not permitted on an arc-rated or NFPA 2112 garment at any price.
- Can name patches be sewn on instead?
- Yes, and on FR garments it is often the better answer: an FR-rated patch sewn with FR thread is durable, replaceable when someone leaves, and keeps the decoration off the garment's own fabric.
- Do I see a proof before you print?
- Always. We send a proof showing the exact placement, size, method and colours we will produce, and nothing goes to production until you approve it in writing. Decorated goods are made to order and non-returnable except for our error, so the proof is how we both make sure that error does not happen.
- What are your minimums?
- They vary by decoration method rather than by product — screen printing and pad printing carry a setup that only makes sense over a run, while transfers and embroidery start much lower. The configurator shows the minimum for whatever you pick before you commit to anything.
- Do you sell to public agencies and tax-exempt organisations?
